Introducing GPS Chats!
This inaugural GPS Chats is launching as part of the Movement Research Festival Fall 2018 and features Polish artists Aleksandra Borys and Wojciech Grudziński in conversation with Hadar Ahuvia and Mariana Valencia. The Chat will be moderated by Marýa Wethers, Director of International Initiatives, GPS/Global Practice Sharing program.
Aleksandra and Wojciech are GPS Artists-in-Residence for two-weeks in NYC from November 24-December 9, 2019 supported by Art Stations Foundation with funding from the Institute of Music and Dance (Poland) and the GPS/Global Practice Sharing program of Movement Research with funding from the Trust for Mutual Understanding (USA).
Location:
This event will be held in the courtyard studio at Movement Research's new home in 122 Community Center at 150 First Avenue.
About GPS Chats:
GPS Chats is a new series offering GPS artists in residence a platform to share about their creative practice and living and working as independent contemporary dance artists in their cultural contexts. The series features international artists in conversation with local artists about the importance of international cultural exchange on the development of their creative practices.
