Train and Create takes place Friday, January 8 through Sunday, January 10, 2027 in Movement Research’s studio spaces in 122 Cultural Center. The five teachers offer a taste of BDF’s Professional Training Program and the experience of both rigorous dance training and making each day. Morning classes will be postmodern technical training on all three days with Jenn Nugent and André Zachery and in the afternoon one-day workshops with Tania Isaac, Ogemdi Ude, and Ishmael Houston-Jones will be unique to each instructor’s creative processes.
