Workshopping ‘Corbeaux' is designed to introduce and present Moroccan choreographer Bouchra Ouizguen’s project Corbeaux, a participatory performance to be presented in NYC Fall of 2017. This workshop invites participants to explore Bouchra’s creation process for Corbeaux. The exchange between the choreographer and workshop participants will challenge notions of the intimate and the collective, voice and movement, and offer a taste of the performance.

This workshop is intended for an intergenerational cast of people who self-identify as women, spanning from young teens through women in their 50s. It marks the beginning of the creative process for the fall 2017 performances here in NYC. The opportunity to continue this process with Bouchra in the fall may be extended to artists attending this weekend.
