FORM—FROM is a love fest and takedown of abstract form. We'll see how much we can create and how many meanings we can pull from the simplest forms while being attentive to what gets left out as well as what makes it in. We will work with movement and text, tight structure and improvisation. We will consider the different approaches to these issues across dance and the visual arts. And surrounding our work, the questions: Do certain forms belong and not belong to us? What work can experimental form do in urgent political times? Feel free to bring material of any sort you would like to work from. Dancers, non-dancers, and everyone between and beside, you are welcome.

Sunday Process Labs are a series of three-hour, low-cost sessions on Sunday afternoons, providing an opportunity for a substantive peer exchange in a lab-type setting. Sessions are facilitated by movement-based artists who share their individual creative practices and process.
