Class Description:
Trisha Brown Dance Company class will begin with a warm-up to integrate the breath and full dimension of the body, movement exercises will focus on undoing places of tension and holding. Mapping the joints of the body will be emphasized to enable clear and efficient movement pathways in preparation for learning phrase material from Trisha Brown’s repertory, which encompasses quick qualitative shifts and complex points of initiation.
Please note that the location of this class may change from Eden’s Expressway to another Movement Research location. Please continue to check this event webpage for up-to-date location details.
Accessibility Notes:
Eden’s Expressway studio is located on the 4th floor of a residential building. There is no step between the sidewalk and the building entrance door. A ramp allows easy access to the building. The elevator works with a key-lock system that allows access to our specific floor. Only Movement Research staff members have access to the elevator key, and it can only be activated from the fourth floor where our studio is located.
Detailed accessibility information about Eden's Expressway is found here.
