A free, high visibility low-tech forum for experimentation, emerging ideas, and works-in-progress held in the Fall and Spring seasons. Artists are selected by a rotating committee of peer artists, and join Movement Research Artists-In-Residence and international guests each season in performing at the historic Judson Church.

The accessible entrance is located at 243 Thompson St. and the elevator at Judson Church is currently working. Personnel from the Judson Church will be at the entrance. The elevator connects Level 1 (street access) to Level 3 (Meeting Room where performances take place) and Level B or basement (where restrooms are located).

Martita Abril

Martita is a performer, choreographer, and teaching artist from the border city of Tijuana, México.

Megan Mazarick

Megan Mazarick is a performer, choreographer, and educator based in Philadelphia. Her choreographic research explores human relationships and identity, looking for ways to smash pop culture and the politics of the body against one another.

Zhana Pencheva

I am a Bulgarian dance artist working between Sofia, Burgas, and Stockholm and other European contexts. I hold Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Dance and Choreography from New Bulgarian University, and a Master's degree in New Performative Practices from Stockholm University of the Arts (2025).

Tina Valentan

Tina Valentan is a Slovenian dance artist, choreographer, and performer whose work moves between performance, improvisation, somatic approaches, and embodied research.
