The Judson Memorial Church is located on Washington Square South between Thompson Street and Sullivan Street, opposite Washington Square Park, in the Greenwich Village neighborhood of the New York City borough of Manhattan.
Movement Research has been hosting Movement Research at the Judson Church, a free Monday night movement-based performance series for experimentation, emerging ideas and works-in-progress, since 1991. The series takes place September – June in the Judson Memorial Church Meeting Room.
Artists are selected by a rotating committee of peers and join Movement Research Artists-in-Residence and international guests.

Movement Research at the Judson Church is an accessible event. The accessible entrance is by way of 243 Thompson St. Please ring the buzzer for the “Meeting Room” then use the elevator to get to the Meeting Room on Level 3 or the accessible bathrooms on Level B (basement).
