Description:
Levi Gonzalez attended the 2022 Skopje Pride Weekend and Queer Festival in North Macedonia from June 1-11, 2022 as a GPS Visiting Scholar along with four artists who are participating in the NYC-Skopje Exchange through the MRX program. During this event, Levi will share a personal travelogue of his experiences in Skopje. His research will include conversations with local artists and cultural producers, witnessing in-studio exchanges, experiencing live performance, and visiting cultural and political sites in Skopje related to dance, performance, and queer culture. This GPS Chats event is in conjunction with the release of his written creative response through MR publishing.
