From the starting point of a classical ballet variation, we will playfully, critically and irreverently re-write, redefine and remake old solos from classical ballets in our own images; challenging the stories, values and traditions of ballet with our embodied experiences. Utilizing a process that Katy Pyle has used to create their queerly re-imagined story ballets, participants will disrupt and reclaim aspects of ballet that they desire to engage with for the sake of their own joy and pleasure.

What to expect:
This workshop invites participants to queerly disrupt and re-imagine classical ballet variations in their own image.
