The focus of these mornings together will be our physicality, our bodies, our moving, and our attention to all of it and to each other. We will take time to carefully and luxuriously ready ourselves for full-out movement, as we try to locate our individual ease, clarity, strength, and robust energy. This structured preparation will also attend to physical mechanics, alignment, and time for feedback from our bodies. Through some improvisation, we will stimulate our awareness, our focus, our intuition as we listen to ourselves while we listen to each other. We will arrive at dancing together, look to heighten our articulation and discover the inherent intelligence in our bodies. In phrase work that builds and evolves during the week, we hone our skills, look for nuance, and deepen our physicality and understanding.
