Our time will be involved with deeply engaging in essential principles of the Klein Technique™ as well as moving towards cognitively recognizing them in our every day living. As always, I embark in a workshop journey leaving the. group dynamic and community to progress us all on a non-linear journey. Some of you may not know underlying this work are strong connections to Bartenieff work, as well as zero balancing. I have been immensely passionate about this work,  as well as to teaching it. I love it.

Klein Technique™ works at the level of the bone, the deepest and densest structure in the body. Here, the body and its movement is addressed through clarity, imagery, and theory. Working at this level allows us to drop in under the layers of muscles, and focus on the deep connections of postural support and movement. Freeing the legs and spine, connecting the pelvis to the legs, connecting the upper body to the lower, and the skull to the feet. In this year’s MELT workshop, my intention is to work from large to small, from movement to stillness and quiet. Theory is always interwoven with practice as needed.
