How are we considering the production from our bodies generated from the relationship between Black movement and sound and what we are doing with it in the 21st Century? Blk Sonic Movement Lab will focus on the in-between of physicality and acoustic resonance where people of various genders, physical abilities, and artistic lineages are encouraged to activate the space through improvisation, call and response, cyphering, and play. Collectively we will examine how the connectivity between Black movement and sound are #futuringactions allowing us to reshape our landscape both literally and figuratively.
