This is an 8-week movement class, requiring background in dance. Irene will teach movement and choreographic materials that provides warm-up, fine-tuning, and physical training toward various possible dance goals. These might include any of the following: dynamic trunk stability, freedom of hip and shoulder and spinal joints (including pelvis, lower spine, middle spine and neck), enhanced balance on one foot and greater power to push off from the ground, etc.
She will draw from choreographic material she has created in the past as well as new material that she could potentially create in the class itself (influenced by the interests of the participants).
*Please note: Each session of this workshop will be filmed!
