2026 Winter MELT
MELT Intensives are a series of daily workshops in technique, somatics, improvisation, composition and other areas offered each summer and winter. These workshops provide students with the unique opportunity to engage with some of the most highly regarded and innovative artists in the field of dance today.

Frequently Asked Questions
Refund Policy
Refund requests will be accepted until one week prior to the workshop start date and must be made in writing via email to melt@movementresearch.org. A $25 processing fee and credit card processing fees will be deducted for all individual workshops.
- If you are feeling ill, we ask that you please stay home. In the case of illness, refunds may be given if a request has been made in writing to melt@movementresearch.org prior to class start time.
- The doors will close 15 minutes past the start of class time (10:15am for a 10am workshop). Refunds will not be issued due to late arrival.
- If a workshop is sold out, waitlist spots will be released 5 minutes past the start of class time (10:05am for a 10am start time). Refunds will not be issued if your ticket is released to a waitlist spot.
Can I drop in to a workshop?
Unless otherwise noted, there are no drop ins available.
Can I get a discount if I have to miss a day of the workshop?
No, we are unable to offer discounts or prorate workshop fees due to missed days.
Can I transfer my registration to another workshop?
No, transfers are not possible between workshops.
Do you have any work/study or work exchange options?
MR has internships which follow a work/study format. Directions on how to apply can be found on our Internships at MR page.
