Hello my name is Yun Lee, a performer and performance maker from Seoul. Right now I’m interested in stretching time, condensing space, and co-creating alternate places where fragments of the past are in dialogue with the present. I’m in mourning and in celebration as I curate collections of text and images that already exist in the world, but have a context of having been left in the shadows or having been pushed into obscurity due to sociopolitical circumstances and neglect. I like the sound of poetic gore, imagining complex identities to inhabit, hosting a party in the dungeons, the underbelly of culture, where invitations are sent out to relics that were almost forgotten, spirits that were unpopular, creatures that rip apart beauty and are uncanny.
