Tasha Taylor, a Guild Certified Feldenkrais® Practitioner since 2006, maintains a vibrant practice focusing on performing artists interested in improving their self-use to elicit their capacity for more potent self-expression. Recently she was pleased to join the staff of PT & Feldenkrais NYC. Tasha has taught Feldenkrais in the Hollins Dance MFA summer program, Barnard and NYU. As a dancer, Tasha performed with many choreographers including Pat Cremins, Steve Gross, Dean Moss, Lynn Shapiro, Matthew Brookoff, and RoseAnne Spradlin. A “Bessie” Award recipient for her performance in Spradlin’s Underworld, Tasha’s recent performance with Rachel Thorne Germond Performance Collage was described as “spellbinding” by the New York Times. Tasha believes that the Feldenkrais Method® is a beautiful and wondrous approach to self- learning, which leads to the bypassing of seemingly invariable interferences that often hinder our growth.
