Susan Homar is Dance scholar, former dance critic in Puerto Rico’s daily newspapers, and retired Comparative Literature and dance history professor at the Universidad de Puerto Rico, Río Piedras campus. Her pieces have appeared in the Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico’s retrospective catalog Choreography of Error: Viveca Vázquez’ CONDUCT, Making Caribbean Dance, Continuity and Creativity in Island Cultures, edited by Susanna Sloat for the University Press of Florida, and journals such as 80grados, Conjunto, Postdata, High Performance, and The Women’s Review of Books.
