Punto de Inflexión is a contemporary interdisciplinary performance company committed to the pursuit of generating meaning in each step, carrying out creative processes with unexpected results, and creating new cooperative ties across geographic, artistic, social, and societal boundaries. It fosters the creation of an inclusive space, without leaving aside the human sense of art in its praxis.

This project was co-founded and is co-directed by multi-awarded Mexican dancemaker Stephanie García and USA visual artist, creative, and arts administrator Peter Hay.

The company and its directors’ work have been supported by IBERESCENA (Ibero-American countries), the Prince Claus Fund (NLD), the Foundation for Contemporary Arts and the New York Foundation for the Arts (USA), the Banff Center (CAN), and the Mexican Culture Ministry. In addition, it has presented work in venues and festivals in the USA, Mexico, Cyprus, Ireland, Peru, Panama, Spain, and Cuba.

Since 2020, Punto de Inflexión has been located in the confines of ubiquity, based between Mexico and the United States.
