SignNexus sets the standard for excellence and efficiency as providers of professional communication services that recognize and accommodate the diverse language needs and personal identities of individuals who are Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing.
A Certified Minority and Women-Owned Business Enterprise, SignNexus prioritizes high quality ADA-compliant accessibility and long-term customer satisfaction.
SignNexus communication access providers reflect the incredibly diverse cultural and religious backgrounds of the NYC Deaf community— this includes Deaf Interpreters, providers who identify as Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), Asian American Pacific Islanders (AAPI), and proud LGBTQ+ providers. All sign language interpreters and CART captioners are individually screened, then hand selected for jobs that best utilize their skill and experience. Carefully pairing Deaf+ and hearing consumers with passionate providers who fulfill their language needs and match their personal identities is a cornerstone of our business.
Since 2014, we have provided more than 100,000 service hours in partnership with more than a thousand different clients, ranging from small businesses to major corporations, non-profits to City and State agencies. We work in theaters, performing art spaces, museums, film sets, concerts, courtrooms, classrooms, conferences, and every setting in between.
SignNexus is honored to support Movement Research with extending programming to the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing community by providing ASL interpreters for events like the recent “MELT Crip Movement Lab,” and many other projects!
