Sarah A.O. Rosner

Sarah A.O. Rosner is a queer performance maker and arts businesshuman creating work out of Brooklyn, NY. Rosner founded the A.O. Movement Collective in 2006, freelance arts-business hub A.O. PRO(+ductions) in 2008, and queer/feminist studio AORTA films in 2015. They come from an experimental performance background and make work that expresses itself interstitially: across performance, object-making, community building, and experimental economic systems. Their work with the AOMC has been presented + self-produced at venues, rooftops, and living rooms across the northeast, and their work as a performer/director with AORTA films has screened + distributed globally. Rosner identifies as a queer, trans/non-binary white, able-bodied, fat, femme maker and performer. They are a maximalist who believes in the radical promise of pleasure, and the powerful obscenity of bodies in their glorious, illicit humanity.
