Rainey Scarborough

Rainey Scarborough is a Brooklyn-based dancer, performer, visual artist, and arts worker originally from North Carolina. She received a B.A. in Media and Journalism and a minor in studio art from UNC-Chapel Hill. Most recently, she has been working as a freelance performer, choreographer, and arts administrator where she is an artist in residence with Dev Dance Theater, a contemporary dance company out of Ojai, California. Additionally, she has choreographed for and collaborated with music artists, most notably for the artist Field Medic represented by Run For Cover Records, and has worked in development and programming for Jonah Bokaer Arts Foundation and Movement Research based in NYC.
