Ori Flomin is a NYC-based dance artist, educator, and healing arts practitioner whose work blends contemporary dance, yoga, and Shiatsu to explore the body–mind–spirit connection. He holds an MFA in Dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, where he is currently an adjunct professor. His choreography has been presented at Gibney, Dance Theater Workshop, LaMama, Arts on Site, and Movement Research at Judson Church, as well as internationally across Europe, Israel, Japan, and Australia. A sought-after teacher for over 25 years, Ori has taught at leading festivals and institutions worldwide, including ImPulsTanz, P.A.R.T.S., Sasha Waltz & Guests, Cullberg Ballet, London Contemporary School of Dance, Bolzano Dance Festival, and TicTac arts Center, and many more. He was a Gibney Dance in Process Artist in Resident in 2022–23 and is a 2025 Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (LMCC) grant recipient. His DIY Shiatsu workshops invite participants to discover self-care tools that enhance emotional and physical balance, integrating holistic practices into creative movement.
