Olivia is a movement artist from the Berkshires, Massachusetts. Currently in her third year of undergraduate study at NYU Gallatin, Olivia concentrates in somatic healing as a decolonial practice. They explore how movement’s ability to connect people to themselves, one another, and the natural world can act as resistance against cartesian dualism and colonial disembodiment. As a leader and member of the NYU Dancers/Choreographers Alliance Olivia is exploring how movement can foster radical empathy and care.
