Olivia Best is a freelance movement artist from Jersey City. She has graduated from the University of the Arts with a BFA as well as completed the Ailey School’s Independent Study Program where she has had the experience of performing in works by Sidra Bell, Shayla-Vie Jenkins, Mark Caserta, and Netta Yerushalmy. Getting into the development of dance making, Olivia stems her strengths and curiosities within floorwork, acrobatics, and play. Creating a moving piece that pushes personal boundaries in what the body is capable of vs. what the body knows it is capable of.
