mik is a white, trans, queer + fat dance and performance artist currently based in Philadelphia, who received their BFA in Dance from the University of the Arts in 2021. he examines + lives inside a constant, queer welling; a need for quivers, heaving, uncontrollable laughter, sobs, + indiscriminate violence guides them into creating temporary worlds that are maniacally unkempt + grotesquely forgiving. he aims to distort time, go elsewhere; while exploring humor, absurdity, queer futurity, + intense physicality through different modes of efficiency + enactments.
