Maya Quetzali Gonzalez’s directing and choreography has been seen at SheNYC, OOB Festival, The Tank, Judson Arts, The Brick, and UCLA’s Dancing Disability Lab. As an associate/assistant, she has worked at Playwrights, Signature, MCC, Roundabout, and on Broadway. Maya has served as panelist/reviewer for the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, YoungArts, the New York State Council on the Arts, and more. She was previously the Grants Manager at the MAP Fund, where she facilitated the distribution of $8M+ to 400+ projects at the forefront of radical performance work. Maya is a FORGE Fellow, an Associate Member of SDC, a board member of IndieSpace, and was a member of Cohort Six of the Roundabout Directors Group. She is also an organizer for reproductive justice.
