Liony is a dancer and choreographer from Miami, Fl. He received his BFA from New World School of the Arts and the University of Florida. As a performer, Liony has worked with BodyTraffic, Rosie Herrera Dance Theater, Bistoury Physical Theater, and Brigid Whole Project. His choreographic work has been commissioned by NPN, The Wolfsonian Museum, The Ringling Museum, Pioneer Winter Collective, Dranoff 2 Piano Foundation, Miami Light Project, and Miami Dade Cultural Affairs Department. His latest film collaborations include D3C05 with Blaze Gonzalez and Hannah Gaengler which was featured in ScreenDance Miami 2022. He’s collaborated with multimedia artist Ana Teresa Fernandez on her performance project “On the Horizon”. His first evening-length work, Corporeal Decorum was presented by The Wolfsonian Museum, Miami Design Preservation League, The Ringling Museum, Miami Light Project, and Aspen Ideas: Climate 2023 at New World Symphony’s Soundscape Park.
