Leonor Mendes (she/her) is a performance artist from Portugal based in New York City. She has performed with artists including Joan Jonas, João Fiadeiro, Madalena Vitorino and Henrique Furtado Vieira, and has been collaborating with brazilian artists Giovanna Monteiro and Vicente Antunes Ramos since 2021. Her creations and research projects, mostly related to improvisation processes, have been presented at Teatro de Bairro Alto in Lisbon, Festival Materiais Diversos in Minde and Oficina Cultural Oswald de Andrade in São Paulo .

She holds a MA in Performance Studies from New York University, is a recipient of a Fulbright Scholarship (2022) and The Performance Studies Award from the Dep. of Performance Studies, New York University (2023).
