Kristel Faye Baldoz

Kristel Faye Baldoz is a Filipina-American artist from Delano, California, home to the table grape strike. Her work centers on the body, narrative, and online platforms to interrogate institutional and political frameworks. Her collaborative work with artist Anh Vo addresses tensions between Asian/Asian American identities, appropriation, and racial troupes. As a freelance project manager and performer, she has worked with Faustin Linyekula, Reggie Wilson, and Wilmer Wilson IV. Kristel is a 2019 fellow of the EmergeNYC residency at the Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics and holds an MA in Arts Politics at New York University.
