Kay Ottinger

Kay Ottinger has been the Movement Research at Judson Church Coordinator since 2014. Movement Research was Kay’s first internship straight out of college. She has always found continuous comfort, support, and growth through her participation as a dancer, intern, Open Performance Coordinator, and now as Judson Coordinator.

Kay graduated from Sarah Lawrence College in 2010, where she focused her studies in dance. For the past six years she has been dancing, coordinating, and co founding in New York. Currently, she is working with Rebecca Davis and will be dancing this Fall with Kim Brandt and Ursula Eagly. She continues moving with Articulate Processes, a learning collective she co founded with Kate Kernochan and Larissa Sheldon. A lover of hosting and creating shows, she has developed group shows through her co founded performance series TAB and currently at Brooklyn Studios for Dance (BkSD). Most recently, she has received her pilates certification from the Kane School. You can find her teaching at BkSD, Finetune, and her new home in Jackson Heights. Feel free to contact her anytime to talk about pilates, movement, or shows.
