Kate Watson-Wallace is an artist based in Brooklyn, NY. Her work has been funded by the Map Fund, Doris Duke Foundation, Independence Foundation and Pew Center for Arts & Heritage. She is a Pew Fellow in Choreography. She has toured internationally, most recently showing work in New York at Summerstage Central Park, and choreographing St. Vincent’s performance of “Los Ageless” on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. She was a 2011 Bessie Schoneberg Fellow at The Yard, a 2015 resident artist at UCLA, and a 2017 Artist Resident at the Skaftfell Center for Visual Art (Seyðisfjörður, Iceland). She has choreographed music videos for St. Vincent, Animal Collective, Panda Bear & Black Dice. She has an MFA in Studio Art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
