Justine Florence is based in NYC. Her work consists of dance, prose, lino prints, and film. Justine received a B.A. in Dance and Written Arts from Bard College, where she was awarded The Margaret and John Bard Scholars Prize in the Arts, and has shown work at the Fisher Center for Performing Arts, Annandale-on-Hudson, NY; UBS Gallery, Red Hook, NY; Gracemoon Arts, Brooklyn, NY; and the Centre National de la Danse, Pantin, France, as part of Camping’s School Marathon. Justine’s work questions the stability of routine, relation, body, memory, and landscape. Her practice seeks sustainability within severity.
