Jo Warren is a New York based artist working at the intersection of dance, performance, image-making, writing, Breathwork, tattooing, and theology. In their time in New York, Jo has shared original work at AUNTS, Movement Research at Judson Church, the No Theme Festival, The Living Gallery, Exponential Festival and The Brick Theater. Their work in collaboration with Lena Engelstein has been described by the Brooklyn Rail as “subtly campy and hilariously queer.” Most recently, Jo has been a company member with the acrobatic dance group LAVA and a performing collaborator with Vanessa Anspaugh and Faye Driscoll.
