Hannah Herschend is a Brooklyn based dance artist and filmmaker. Hannah graduated from Bard College in 2024 with degrees in dance and sociology. She is interested in the body’s instincts and desires, and the body as both a physical and imaginary structure. Hannah is currently fascinated by allegories, frames, and other simple containers for meaning.
Hannah is the recipient of the Ana Itleman prize for choreography and the Don Parker prize for dance. Her choreography has been presented at the Fisher Center for Performing Arts in Annandale-on-Hudson, NY, and the Rokeby Estate in Red Hook, NY.
