Giordana Falzone and Agata Jędrzejczak met each other in New York City in the spring of 2023. Giordana is a freelance dance artist based in Seattle, USA, working across performance and film projects with artists such as zoe juniper, Charles Slender-White, and Michele Miller alongside creating her own work. Agata is a performer, choreographer, and educator from Krakow, Poland where she has participated in many interdisciplinary projects and is a teaching artist working in the Krakow community and the dance program of the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice. Their collaboration as a duo stems out of their focus on building connections between performative behavior, relationships on stage, and abstract approaches to the use of time and space in order to invite discussion about the normative, cultural behavior of moving bodies. They have presented iterations of this work throughout 2024: in Seattle through a production with CO-Presents and in Krakow as a self-produced performance.
