Giordana and Agata met in New York City in the spring of 2023. They are both dancers, improvisers, choreographers, and educators. While in NYC, they began working in a studio together and then separately in Seattle, US and Krakow, PL. In 2024, they joined back in the same physical space to create the first iteration of an improvised work in Seattle for a split bill performance with CO-Presents. A second version of the work was self-produced by the duo in Krakow, Poland. Giordana and Agata continue to research this exchange between their different physicalities and cultural backgrounds. They focus on building connections between performative behavior, relationships on stage, and abstract approaches to the use of time and space in order to invite discussion about the normative, cultural behavior of moving bodies.
