Frances (she/her) is a NYC-based dance performer/maker originally from the Midwest. Rooted in a lineage of making, Frances inherited her devotion to artistry and dance-making from her mother Susan, and older sister Amelia. Frances received her BFA in Contemporary Dance and BA in Political Science from Indiana University and has studied under the mentorship of Selene Carter, Beatrice Capote, Liz Shea, Stafford Berry Jr., Robert Burden, and more.

Frances’s dance work has been showcased at the Future Artists Festival in Chicago, IL, and at the Eskenazi School of Architecture in Bloomington, IN. She has performed as a community guest with the Bill T. Jones and Arnie Zane Company in Bloomington, IN, and as a guest with Middle Space Dance (Amelia Koper Heintzelman/Leah Fournier) at Treiber Farms, NY.
