Calie Champoux (she/her) is a multidisciplinary artist and performer based in Brooklyn, NY. She is a recent graduate of George Washington University, where she earned a B.A. in Dance and pursued additional studies in fine arts with a focus on photography. She has performed works by Erick Hawkins, the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company, and Brendan Drake. Her practice is movement-driven, rooted in curiosity, and continually evolving alongside her own growth. In her recent projects, she explores reimagining the traditional relationship between performer and audience, merging artistic mediums to uncover new processes. She is committed to change and values experimentation in style.
