Ana Teresa Rodríguez is a Puerto Rican illustrator and
multidisciplinary artist currently living in Brooklyn, New York. She
works mostly with ink, watercolor, and acrylic, and is heavily
inspired by the concept of magical realism. Through her practice, Ana
looks to create ethereal scenes that can feel either nostalgic or
tranquil, yet surreal. Ana works with memory and nostalgia to create
settings that are inspired by the vision of a decolonized world
without occupied lands, where nature is preserved, and where women and
femmes can live without fear. Besides her visual arts practice, Ana
Teresa enjoys Contemporary dance, heels, and is also a member of the
House of Babylon where she practices Vogue Femme.
