Alma is a painter and movement artist from Harlem, NYC. They received their BA in Dance, Visual Art, and Accessibility Studies from Bennington College in 2024. Some of their dance experience includes training at Ballet Academy East, and completing an artist residency at Lake Studios Berlin. Through acts of movement, they are interested in listening more closely to the soft hum omitted from all living (and non-living) things. Between painting, printmaking, and dance, they aim to build moments that push the eye towards versions of reality that are just beyond touch.
