Thinking bodies. This practice attunes our physical awareness to embed mindfulness within highly physical dancing. Investigating the continual navigation between our physical intuition and our intellect, an ongoing body/mind dialogue manifests through our unique dancing bodies. We’ll use set and improvised movements to explore experiential and somatic strategies, release, flow, sequential movement, initiations, falling, momentum, ease and efficiency. Moving with simultaneous abandonment and precision, we’ll continually make space for our individual approaches to moving.

Jasmine Hearn will be teaching for Lindsey Dietz Marchant on April 5.
