Class Description:

This class is a snapshot in time of my current explorations in decentralizing and distributing awareness to be responsive to, and responsible for, the multiplicity inherent in the carnal body. Privileging qualitative sensorial curiosity and actively resisting the urge to translate these experiences into the quantitative world of data and information, removing the scalpel from the hands of the dominating and domesticating influence of internalized patriarchy. My offering is a flavor of guided meditation which I have come to call Guided Reverie.

Class includes somatic movement and awareness exercises, consented hands-on and/or self-touch, deep meditation techniques, and exploration of improvised movement and vocalization, among other creative devices. We will move at the pace of our own visceral exploration.
