Movement Research offers this MELT workshop virtually over Zoom.

Workshop description:

5 days to be together while we change, move, remember, write, speak, pause, dance, imagine, and sound. With the intention to strengthen our imaginations and focus our listening, this guided collaged experience will call on each individual to be with the body and space that is available to them at that moment. Imagery, prompts, and tasks will be offered as ways to honor and tend a home in our bodies and voices ...to work and play….to be moved by memory...to take time to be with pleasure and the erotic as described by Audre Lorde...to be with ourselves and to be together.

MELT Zoom Etiquette Guidelines:

  • We ask that you please "Mute" yourself when you are not verbally participating.
  • Please do your best to arrive on time and stay for the duration of the session. If you plan to leave early, inform the faculty member at the top of class using the "Chat" function in your Zoom window.
  • Experiencing connectivity or technological issues? Either use the "Chat" function to communicate with the MR administrator, or email “[email protected]" and someone will assist you as soon as possible.
