grasp + release is a two-week series that explores the body, language and authentic movement. the body holds memories, histories and untold stories. using authentic movement exercises and poetic exercises we will explore how to witness authentically, create language for ones body as well as exercises to encourage creating choreographic scores. this workshop is for all bodies and ways of being and will take a multi-disciplinary approach to movement making.
