Please join GPS MENA Artists-in-Residence Yassmine Benchrifa & Mohamed Lamqayssi from Morocco and Sahar Damoni from Palestine as they discuss their creative practices, the arts and culture sectors in their home cities, and regional issues affecting their work. Yassmine & Mohamed have a three-week research residency in NYC from October 14-November 3, 2019 and Sahar is in residence for a month from October 19-November 17, 2019.

Please join us for an informal reception directly following the GPS Chats to meet the artists and toast the launch of the GPS MENA Exchange Program!

GPS Chats offers GPS artists and cultural producers an informal platform to discuss their work in the independent contemporary dance sector within their cultural contexts and the influence of international exchange on the development of their practices.
