This will be a collage.

There will be spirals, writing prompts, and listening to each other, our organs, and our imagination. There will be feelings, bone tracing, moves, groove, instant composition, heart and hip openers, some swooning, a phrase, casting, and humming. Using language from family, community, and mentors, there will be a putting together of the pedestrian, the virtuosic, the functional, the subtle, the fantastical, the soft, and the vulnerable.

With a background in various dance techniques and traditions, BodyMind Movement, yoga, and vocalization, I am committed to the facilitation of an environment for us to connect with each of our own fantasies and feelings, while coexisting with others. I intend for us to “communicate in the languages that brings us most comfort” (Joy KMT) using dance, movement, sound, and song as our materials.
