GPS Chats is a new series offering GPS artists and cultural producers an informal platform to discuss their work and the influence of international cultural exchange on the development of their practices.

Please join us for the next GPS Chats with Serbian cultural producer Marijana Cvetkovic from STATION - service for contemporary dance in Belgrade, Serbia. STATION is an initiative of the contemporary dance and performing arts community in Serbia, established in 2005 to provide reasonable and professional working conditions to all active parties on the art scene in Serbia and the Balkan Region through programs for education, professional development, production, promotion, advocacy and cultural policy. Marijana will discuss the history and mission of STATION, an overview of Serbian dance activism and cultural practices, strategies of organization within the independent arts sector, and offer context within the broader region.

Please save the date for our next GPS Chats with participants from the International Interdisciplinary Artists Consortium, organized by Peter Sciscioli in conversation with Iskra Sukarova (Skopje, Macedonia), Ivana Ivcović (Zagreb, Croatia), and Agnieszka Mendel (Wygnanowice, Poland) on Tuesday, August 27 from 6:30-8pm.
