This event will take place at The Museum of Modern Art, in conjunction with Judson Dance Theater: The Work Is Never Done. Click here for more information regarding the exhibition at MoMA.

From MoMA:

"Reading Groups are conversations between dancers and non-dancers that explore issues in performance and other movement-based forms. At MoMA, texts from specific issues of the Movement Research Performance Journal (MRPJ) anchor each discussion. MRPJ, created by and for artists, provides a forum for multidisciplinary thinking. In its nearly three-decade history, the MRPJ has grown to be one of the most comprehensive publications for postmodern and experimental dance and performance and continues a legacy of gathering writings that address issues and ideas that concern movement communities in New York and around the world. Free and open to everyone. Space is limited and registration is required to participate. Registration is available online and in person on a first-come, first-served basis."
