This morning practice is about our physicality, leaving space for sensation and feedback from our bodies. We take time to carefully ready ourselves as we try to find our individual ease, clarity, strength, and robust energy. Our preparation also attends to physical mechanics, alignment, and movement efficiency. Through exploration, a bit of improvisation, some time on the floor and rigor, we look to enhance our understanding, our intuition, our focus, hone our skills, discover our comfort and pleasure, and arrive at dancing together.
What to expect:
- verbally directed on the floor and upright warm up activities that we do together
- a bit of free improvisatory movement accessing our individual physicality – done together
- full-out dancing – learning movement material/phrase work
Please Note:
- Classes on Oct 10, 24, 31 will take place at Danspace Project
- Class on Oct 17 will take place at Eden’s Expressway
