Stuart B Meyers is a New Orleans and Brooklyn-based interdisciplinary performing artist devoted to illuminating the hidden corners of our inner worlds through dance, theater, ritual, and communal gathering. Stuart has performed at The Shed, Park Avenue Armory, New York Live Arts, Ars Nova, Danspace (NY), Martin Gropius Bau, Schaubuhne (Berlin), Stedelijk (Amsterdam), and Southbank Centre (London), and has collaborated with artists including Tino Sehgal, Robert Wilson, Nick Cave, Ann Liv Young, Colette Sadler, Mina Nishimura, and Christopher Williams. They guide healing and dreamwork through a Kabbalistic lineage, and their work has been supported by the Berlin Senate, Brooklyn Arts Council, and Harkness Foundation. Stuart was a Yaddo fellow and has been a NYLA Fresh Tracks Artist, CPR & Triskelion Arts AIR, and danceWEB Scholar at IMPULSTANZ.
