Maya Lee-Parritz is an interdisciplinary choreographer and visual artist based in New York City. Her choreographic work has been presented at Hudson Hall Opera House, University of Chicago, KinoSaito, the Center for Performance Research, Brooklyn Ballet, Judson Church, DraftWork at Danspace, Pageant Space, Kestrels, and The Shed. Maya was awarded an early Early Stage Creative Residency at The Chocolate Factory Theater in Spring 2026, and will be a Movement Research Artist in Residence for the 2026-2027 season. She has worked with Beth Gill, Joanna Kotze, and Jodi Melnick. She received her BA from Barnard College, her MFA in New Genres/Studio Art at Hunter College, and teaches at Sarah Lawrence College.
